The Bowen Technique is a very gentle cross fibre muscle release technique that activates and empowers your body's own repair mechanisms. It allows your body to rebalance and reset - resulting in relaxation, healing and pain relief/balancing and stimulating the body's energy flows, it also results in a deep sense of overall well being.

Tom Bowen was an amazingly successful body worker who hailed from Geelong in Victoria. He had an enormous following due to his reputation in assisting conditions connected with babies through to the very elderly, from AFL players and representative basketballers, to Melbourne Cup horses and their jockeys. He was a self taught practitioner who professed his skill was a gift from God.

The Bowen Technique has progressed remarkably since 1982, with Tom Bowen's passing. Research programs have been conducted with frozen Shoulder problems, TMJ difficulties and ADD and ADHD disorders. Bowen therapy is now a nationally-recognised qualification in Australia, delivered by Bowen Training Australia RTO#41134.

Interestingly, from the humble beginnings in Geelong, the Bowen Technique is now practised in 30 countries around the world and is therefore one of Australian's proudest exports.

Bowen provides a wonderful and very effective treatment for all sorts of muscular skeletal problems (ankle, knee, lower back and neck pain etc) including: Asthma, Carpal Tunnel, Dizziness, Frozen Shoulder, Headaches, RSI, Whiplash, Dental/Facial pain, Sports Injuries, TMJ issues, Migraines, Sciatica - as well as emotional stress and anxiety and many other muscle or joint pains.
